As Technical Services manager responsible for all SAP development activities ABAP / JAVA / Jetforms / BC / TIBCO / Informatica / Mercator, SAP Basis and SAP Security & Authorization activities within Philips Consumer Electronics.

FIL CC BASIS TEAMLEADER
As such I was responsible for all SAP R/3 cross Module activities, technical support and ABAP Quality Assurance. Besides SAP R/3 I was also responsible for all technical aspects of i2 (DP, SCP, ADW, ROI) within Philips CE.

One of these cross PD SAP MDM projects is CMC2.0. CMC stands for Content Management Chain and is all about SAP MDM Product Content Management. It is a project for Philips Consumer Electronics and Philips Domestic Appliances and personal Care. The aim is to create the agile CMC for PCE and DAP with SAP Netweaver based components.

Philips International BV (P-BAS)

January 2005 – January 2007 (2 years 1 month)

In the current position as P-BAS SL Basis Manager responsible for all SAP Basis and SAP Security & Authorization aspects within P-BAS. The team supports various Philips Product Divisions and so-called Corporate Functions (cFinance, cPurchasing and cHRM). In practice this means that we have installed, configured, tuned and support 65 different SAP instances. Next to various R3, CRM, SRM system landscapes we have the whole SAP software stack active (SEM, BW, XI, MDM, Solution Manager, Portal, etc..)

Massive SAP environment: 22TB storage, 7*24 hrs in 3 timezones, outsourcing, India offshoring, +/- 15.000 named users, +/-300 clients, 65 SAP instances, huge amount of interfacing and messaging, SOX compliancy and almost every SAP component is used. Team focus is mainly on projects and third line support and not on systems management. Other team activities are software configuration mgt, software life cycle mgt and partnering with the Data Center Architects and project managers.
